Beth started her career working as a dental assistant in Wellington while she was studying at Victoria University doing a BA. She soon discovered a love for Dentistry and with encouragement from her colleagues she decided to move to Dunedin to pursue a career in Dental Hygiene.
Beth graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Oral Health. After graduation she worked with children in the Bee Healthy Dental service and then as a Hygienist within private practice for the past 10 years. Beth feels Dental Hygienists are lucky to be able to see patients very regularly and have the opportunity to build great relationships and trust. She really enjoys this aspect of her job and the satisfaction that comes from seeing improvements in gum health and oral hygiene when she sees patients back after their initial periodontal treatments.
Beth was brought up on the Kapiti Coast and now lives in Lower Hutt with her partner and their three young girls. Outside of work Beth loves a good book, tramping in our beautiful New Zealand bush and roller-skating with her kids and our local Roller Derby team.

After returning to New Zealand, Jenny was based in Christchurch for three years before shifting back to Wellington, joining Art of Dentistry in 1997 and getting married that year. She spent two years here before the arrival of her first child.
For the last 14 years Jenny has practiced in the Wellington region, returning to Art of Dentistry in 2012.
Outside of work, Jenny has four school-aged children who keep her happy and busy, and in her ‘non-existent’ spare time she likes to play the piano.
